The Art and Material Culture of Iranian Shiism (St. Antony's College, University of Oxford, July 7th-8th, 2006) remains one of the major programs regarding Visual Studies and Material Religion of Iranian Shiism in the West, organized by Prof. J. W. Allan and Dr. Pedram Khosronejad. This program received financial support from the Iran Heritage Foundation (U.K.), The Middle East Centre (St. Antony’s College, University of Oxford), Maison Francaise d’Oxford and Institute of Ismaili Studies (U.K.).
